Baking around the world with chef instructor Angie Lopez. Designed especially for the young baker (ages 8 to 16), students will explore a different country or region each day. Youth bakers will learn about the fundamentals of baking, kitchen safety, and how to mix and measure like a baking pro. Each class will vary with students making their own artisan bread, croissants, French macarons, and celebration cakes (including icing and basic decoration).
Registration for baking camp is $300 per week and includes four days of five hour classes from 9AM to 2PM, Monday through Thursday. At the end of each week, participants will leave with their own notebooks with recipes and a camp diploma.
Baking Camp Policies:
Youth bakers must wear closed-toe shoes. No flips flops will be allowed in the kitchen.
Long hair must be secured with a hair tie or alternative.
