Artisan Bread Basics

Learn how to make rustic breads from scratch. In this class, we’ll cover essential ten steps of making bread: from mixing and rising dough to shaping and baking. This interactive class begins with a demonstration of preparing bread dough. Students will then dive in, rolling and shaping their own dough to create artisan-style loaves, baguettes, and ciabatta bread.
Students should leave with a thorough understanding of how to work, rise, and bake their own artisan bread at home. Students will bring home freshly baked breads and batch of dough to keep and bake at home.
